As part of our integrated drug discovery services, LAXAI provides comprehensive in vivo biology services and expertise. Our services include animal model selection, study design, in vivo pharmacology, and toxicology testing:
Animal Model Selection: We offer advice and expertise on the selection of appropriate animal models for preclinical testing based on the disease target and the drug candidate. Our team can help select models that closely mimic the disease in humans or that are well-characterized for a particular disease.
Study Design: We design and execute preclinical studies using animal models. We design studies to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and efficacy of drug candidates. We also conduct toxicology studies to assess safety.
In vivo Pharmacology: Our team evaluates the pharmacology of drug candidates using animal models. We measure endpoints such as drug distribution, metabolism, and excretion, as well as assess the drug’s effect on disease progression.
Toxicology testing: We assess the safety of drug candidates in animal models. Our toxicology testing includes acute and chronic toxicity testing, as well as evaluating the potential for long-term side effects.
